Beginning January 1, 2024, Niagara Region’s residential recycling program will no longer be managed by the Region and responsibility for the program will be taken on by Circular Materials. 

Circular Materials will be responsible residential Blue / Grey box material collection and replacement of recycling containers (Blue / Grey Boxes), in accordance with the Province's new Blue Box regulation. 

As of January 1, 2024, replacement blue boxes will NO LONGER be available at Lincoln Town Hall or at other municipal facilities in Niagara region. 

To obtain or exchange blue boxes, residents of Grimsby, Lincoln, Pelham, Thorold, Wainfleet and West Lincoln can contact:

Niagara Region is responsible for residential waste collection in the Town of Lincoln.

Large item pick-up: 

  • To book a large item collection, please submit online requests or call at least two working days before your regular collection day to make arrangements. 

Illegal Dumping 

Illegal dumping is the disposing of material in non-designated areas, such as public roads, ditches, public property, rural areas, vacant lots and in public litter receptacles. It is a crime. 

To report illegal dumping you have the following options through Niagara Region:
