Business During Coronavirus
Supporting Business During Coronavirus
The Town of Lincoln aims to keep businesses informed about impacts from Coronavirus & how the Town of Lincoln & other levels of government are supporting our economy during this pandemic.
We all play a role in keeping our economy going during this unusual times.
We've been fortunate enough to have our Lincoln businesses support us whether to fund an event we couldn't have run without their support, or raised / donated money for our local community charities. It's now our turn to support them.
To date, some of the key actions are being taken locally, provincially and federally:
- The Town of Lincoln is waiving late fees & interest on property tax, water, & account receivable payments until June 30, 2020
- Niagara Mayors & Regional Chair join together to form Niagara Economic Rapid Response Team
- Canada announced $27 billion in direct support to Canadian workers & business
- Lincoln has joined the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Beamsville BIA, Twenty Valley Tourism Association, & Ontario Craft Wineries to collate a directory of businesses continuing to operate within public health guidelines. One thing about our Lincoln businesses is that they rise to the occasion to think outside of the box & adapt to changing circumstances.
