Council Priorities

Strategic Planning for a Future-Fit Lincoln

Council priorities include areas of focus for the current term of Council, with pillars that support & achieve Lincoln's community vision of a place to grow, a place to prosper, a place to belong.

With the COVID-19 pandemic posing unparalleled challenges in 2020, the Town of Lincoln remains laser focused on the path ahead and brighter days. Town Council has developed the document ‘Strategic Planning for a future-Fit Lincoln’ to outline council priorities for 2021 and the remaining term of council.

In this document you will learn about Council's collective vision for the 2019-2022 term outlining the four specific priorities shared with council through various public engagement methods. The four pillars are as follows:

To be a welcoming community for people, fresh ideas and businesses

Connected Community:
To connect all of Lincoln – people, places and our natural landscape

Vibrant Community:
To create a happy, healthy, prosperous community
