Tale of a Town
In late 2019, The Town of Lincoln in partnership with Downtown Bench Beamsville and Fix Point Productions set out to capture the collective community memory of Lincoln’s main streets, one personal story at a time. This project preserves local heritage and promotes neighbourhood culture in our Town. Explore the voices and stories that make up Lincoln in this special exhibition at the Lincoln Museum & Cultural Centre.

The Wounded
Striking black-and-white portraits of 18 Canadian veterans of the war in Afghanistan illustrate stories of loss, recovery and hope. Through images and accompanying text, the soldiers relate their struggle to heal, despite the vital support of family and friends. Some knew instantly that their lives would be forever changed, while others realized it only long after the fact. Developed by the Canadian War Museum in partnership with Legion Magazine and featuring photography and stories by Stephen J. Thorne, this exhibition takes an unflinching look at the struggles and hopes of Canadian veterans injured in recent years.

The Quiltmaker

Folk-artist Donna Bothen has been making patchwork quilts for over 45 years. A trademark of her work is the use of bold colours and exuberant design. Originality is always her goal, and she continues to explore the medium in a contemporary way.
