Town of Lincoln Council
Lincoln’s Council consists of nine elected officials - Mayor and eight Ward Councillors.
Council meets regularly to discuss the Town’s business as representatives of the public. Council directs staff to develop and evaluate municipal policies and programs, ensures transparency of decision-making, and maintains the financial integrity of the municipality.
All meetings begin at 7 p.m., unless otherwise noted, and are held in Council Chambers at Town Hall. If scheduled on a statutory holiday it is postponed until the next business day.
Speaking to Town Council
If you would like to present at Council or a Standing Committee, you can register to become a delegate. Some reasons you might want to register as a delegate:
- Request Council’s support in a proposed policy change
- Promote your charitable/non-profit community agency or event
To register as a delegate, you must contact the Town’s Clerk or legislative services designate by email or phone. You must register by the Thursday preceding the meeting in order to be included on the agenda.
