Notice of the Passing of Interim Control By-law 2019-01
Take notice that the Council of the Town of Lincoln passed By-law No. 2019-01 on the 7th day of January 2019, under Section 38 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, as amended.
And take notice that Interim Control By-law 2019-01 will be in effect for a period of one year from the date of passing, lapsing January 7th, 2020, but may be extended by Council for an additional one-year period in accordance with Section 38 of the Planning Act, or repealed by Council at an earlier date.
Explanation of the purpose and effect of By-law No 2019-01
The purpose of this By-law is to provide the Town with the opportunity to undertake a comprehensive review and update of the Town Zoning By-law. A component of this study will be to identify and assess options to regulate the placement of cannabis cultivation and production operations through zoning considerations to address public input received during the review process and work towards compatibility with other rural land-uses.
This by-law applies to all properties in the Town. A complete copy of the By-law is available on the Town’s website at Lincoln.ca.
