Be part of an innovative digital experience and join Niagara’s first ever AgriTech Hackathon!

Lincoln, ON – (Sept. 16, 2019) – The Town of Lincoln and Spark Lincoln have partnered to host the first ever AgriTech Hackathon. The goal is to bring in businesses, education, technology and communities to take part in solving issues affecting the modern agricultural sector.

Hackathons serve to find innovative solutions to issues across many sectors using collaborative computer programming and expertise. Individuals and teams are inventive and use advanced thinking to solve issues from a digital perspective.

Through the use of technology and local participation teams will work to find the best solutions to challenges that the region’s agricultural and ecotourism sectors are currently facing.

Participants are being invited from all across Canada and will be competing for not only business exposure, but one of several cash prizes! 

Dates: Oct. 18-20, 2019

Location: Beamsville District Secondary School (4317 Central Ave., Beamsville)
