Public Notice - Transportation Master Plan Notice of Study Completion

Public Notice - Transportation Master Plan Notice of Study Completion

The Town of Lincoln has completed a Transportation Master Plan (TMP). The TMP will be used as a blueprint to guide future decision making, planning, design, operations and maintenance of the Town’s transportation network until the year 2031 and beyond.

The TMP outlines a vision and approach to help achieve the Town’s objectives for a connected, continuous, safe, efficient and enjoyable transportation network that addresses future growth and helps to enhance quality of life for residents.

The TMP followed Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) process for master plans. The recommended preferred alternatives were selected and refined based on technical analyses, an evaluation of various alternatives, and incorporation of public and agency input. These alternatives identify the next steps that the Town can take to further improve how people travel in, around, and through Lincoln.
