Public Service Announcement: Temporary Playground Closure at St. Volodymyr Park for Rubberized Surface Installation

July 2, 2022 – (Lincoln, ON) – The Town of Lincoln continues with the installation of rubberized surfacing at playgrounds across the community, as part of our ongoing effort to increase accessibility at our parks and create inclusive, accessible spaces for all.

In 2021, the Town of Lincoln received Provincial and Federal funding through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.

The Town is providing notice to community members in advance of each temporary playground closure. Each installation is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, pending weather conditions.

Progress on other installations:

Installation at Jordan Lions Park is nearing completion. Once completed, work will begin at Angelina Macri Prokich Park. Look for updates on these parks.
