2018 - 2019 Skating Schedule

The Arena's are now closed for the season. Skating schedules will be available in the summer. 

Arena Programs

Arena Rentals 

  • Great opportunity for birthday parties, workplace celebrations, school groups and many more
  • Contact 905-563-2799 ext. 229 for information on availability, insurance requirements and rental rates

Public Skate

  • An opportunity for friends and families to enjoy an open skate and have fun on the ice

Tiny Tots

  • These sessions are open only to adults teaching young children how to skate
  • Tiny Tots is for children five years of age and younger
  • All tiny tots must be accompanied on the ice by a parent/guardian wearing skates

Preschool Stick & Puck 

  • These sessions give parents/guardians the opportunities to teach young children how to skate with a hockey stuck.
  • It is open to children aged 5 years old and younger
  • Hockey sticks and pucks are allowed
  • Must be accompanied on the ice bya parent or guardian wearing skates

Adult Skate

  • Open skate for those 18 years of age and older
  • A properly fit C.S.A approved helmet is strongly recommended 

Pick-Up Hockey

  • This is a drop-in program open to anyone 18 years of age and older
  • Full protective equipment is required
  • Payment must be made before playing

Skating Rules 

  • All children 12 years of age and under MUST wear a properly fitted C.S.A approved helmet for all activities on the ice
  • Hockey sticks and figure skates are not allowed for Public Skate, Tiny Tots, and Adult Skate
  • Approved skate aids are allowed on the ice 


Outdoor Rinks

Hilary Bald Park on Garden Gate Terrace, Beamsville
Open daily from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., from December to March (weather permitting)

  • Rink is designed for recreational purposes

Outdoor Rink Rules

  • Children 6 and under must be accompanied by a guardian at least 15 years of age
  • Children 12 years of age and under must wear a C.S.A approve helmet
  • No organized games or leagues permitted on the ice
  • No use of hockey sticks, balls or pucks
  • No food or drink on the ice surface
  • No alcohol
  • No throwing of snow, ice and objects
