Parking Lot Area

On Saturday Sept. 19, 2020 the Ontario government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health and the Public Health Measures Table, reduced limits on the number of people permitted to attend unmonitored and private social gatherings across the entire province. Unmonitored and private social gatherings include functions, parties, dinners, gatherings, BBQs or wedding receptions held in private residences, backyards, parks and other recreational areas. Significant monetary fines are in place for non-compliance. The new limit on the number of people allowed to attend an unmonitored private social gathering across the province is:

  • 10 people at an indoor event or gathering (previous limit of 50); or

  • 25 people at an outdoor event or gathering (previous limit of 100).

What does this mean?

Please ensure that you are adhering to the above guidelines in the parking lots, parks and pavilion areas. Loitering is prohibited in these areas before and after the skate program time and we respectfully request that once the skate is over, you vacate all Town property in a prompt fashion. A reminder that alcohol is also not permitted in Town facilities, parks, parking lots and pavilions and will be strictly enforced by the Town of Lincoln By-Law Officers. Niagara Regional Police Service and municipal by-law enforcement will be working together to ensure gathering restrictions are followed and enforced.
