The Town of Lincoln is excited to share Play Lincoln, a semi-annual publication that highlights opportunities for you to get active and engage in and with the spaces, places and faces that make Lincoln a wonderful place to grow, prosper and belong.

It is your guide to community activities, programming, schedules and events!

Covid-19 update:  The Town of Lincoln takes the health & safety of our community seriously. We are actively monitoring the evolution of Coronavirus & responding accordingly.  At this time, with restrictions to gatherings, changes have occurred to the programming scheduled in Play Lincoln.  

Facility Closures:

  • Town Hall
  • Fleming Centre, including Lincoln Public Library
  • Lincoln Museum & Cultural Centre
  • Lincoln Community Centre
  • Allan F. Gretsinger Pool (May 30 opening has been delayed)
  • Jordan Arena
  • Lincoln Rescue Fire Stations (for non-emergency use)
  • Outdoor Recreation Amenities including all playgrounds (schools & municipal), sports fields, off-leash dog parks, beaches, picnic areas and others  (Green spaces in parks, trails, ravines and conservation areas that aren’t otherwise closed remain open for walk through access, but physical distancing must be maintained)

Programs & Services Cancellations:

Suspension of all programming until further notice. Details below:

  • Recreation programs suspended – drop-in programs, registered classes (including June swimming lessons) & activities
  • Museum programs & activities suspended
  • Special Events cancelled & suspended
  • Facility rentals cancelled & suspended
  • Park equipment & amenities closed
  • Leash-free dog park closed
