Lincoln, ON – (February 21, 2025) – The Town of Lincoln’s 2025 Interim Property Tax bills were mailed at the end of January. If you have not received your bill, please contact the Finance Department at (905) 563-2799 ext. 222. Please note that failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt property owners from any payments due.
Interim Tax Notice Details:
- Represents 50% of your 2024 annual taxes
- Due Dates: Friday, February 28 and Wednesday, April 30
Final 2025 Tax Notice
The Final Tax Notice will be mailed in late June, with due dates on Thursday, July 31 and Monday, September 29.
Payment Options
- By mail (by cheque only), to be received by the installment due date and addressed to: Town of Lincoln, 4800 South Service Road, Beamsville, ON L3J 1L3. Please do not send cash in the mail.
- In-person at the Town Hall (4800 South Service Rd., Beamsville) by cash, cheque or debit card. For after-hours payments, cheques can be deposited in the After-Hours Mail Deposit located at the front entrance of Town Hall. For added convenience, post-dated cheques are also accepted.
- At most financial institutions – please allow 3 business days for processing before the installment due date to avoid penalty and interest.
- By pre-authorized payment for automatic withdrawal from your bank account on the 10-month, 12-month, or installment due date plans. Information and application forms are available upon request or by visiting lincoln.ca/onlineaccounts.
- By electronic bill payment (i.e. telephone/online banking, ATM machines, software linkups, etc.; it will be necessary for you to apply at your financial institution for this service). Go to your online banking and search for "L" for Lincoln-Property Taxes under add payee. Use all 19 digits of your roll number; no period or spaces. Please allow sufficient time for payments to reach the Town by the due date. Up to 3 business days may be required for bank payments.
- By on-line credit card payments through Paymentus Corporation, a third-party automated payment service that accepts Visa or MasterCard. A convenience fee will be charged by Paymentus for use of this service. Visit lincoln.ca/onlineaccounts for more information or call 1-877-200-9067 to reach the automated service. Please allow up to 3 business days for processing.
Payments will be credited to the account on the date of their receipt by the Town.
