Lincoln, ON – (February 18, 2025) – The Town of Lincoln is declaring the current Keep it Clear event ended as of 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Keep It Clear began the afternoon of February 15 and was declared in response to a forecasted snow event.
While on-street parking is once again permitted, we ask everyone to be considerate when parking on Town streets and allow enough space for cars to pass through. Please be mindful of snowbanks and narrow sections on many secondary roads.
Children are reminded to not play on roads or on snowbanks close to roads, and to not build snow forts or tunnels close to roads, as drivers are unable to see them.
We all have a responsibility to help keep our roads safe for residents and travelers.
Significant Winter Event Remains in Effect
Although the Keep It Clear event has ended, the Significant Winter Event remains in effect as crews continue working to clear secondary sidewalks and address lingering hazards like ice buildup. Residents are urged to exercise caution, allow extra time for travel, and stay alert for changing road and sidewalk conditions.
